Bootable Disk Checker
It'* been a while since I've used one, so what kind of bootable disk checker should I buy/download? What is the best?

I'm not even sure what you mean by "boot disk checker" 
I figure you either want something that will tell you what OS the boot disk is for
or
you want something bootable that will check your system for problems, viruses, spyware ...
or
you want something that will check your bootdisk for changes?
Could you explain what what your looking for does?
