Now that the Bonneville line is dead ... What'* Next? THIS?
http://www.config.infiniti.com/Dispa...VehicleSummary
yep, an Infiniti G35 Coupe ...
someone, try and bring me to my senses and suggest something better.
i thought about the M3, but it is much more expensive and the G35 seems to be the car for aftermarket parts and reliability.

Come to your senses? Why? The G35 is a GREAT car. Much more refined than the 350z, and still very quick.
Might want to wait 'til 07, as they are supposed to update the G35. So you can either buy a new, updated one, or get an older one for a song...

If you're not dead-set on a coupe, take a look at the Mazdaspeed6.
If you are dead set on the coupe, you can't go wrong with a good ole fashioned GTO

NEVER say never. I have heard in a couple of places a G8 is in the works. Accounts on answers.com, wickpedia, and GM insider say it will sit on the Zeta-platform that carries the Buick Lucerne Body. The "G8" also surfaced a number of years ago as a concept car as AWD. The word is It will be targeted as a replacement for both the GP and Bonny. A Yahoo search for Pontiac G8 will give you some hits and a couple of picks. The AWD concept car had a 5.7L.

I think it'* safe to say that the G35 Coupe is a much different beast from a Monte Carlo, or any G8ish sedan.
I guess it would help if you narrowed down what you like about the G35, what you're looking for, etc..

then of course:
Looks, performance, speed, handling
REAR WHEEL DRIVE!!
PERFORMANCE, with an aftermarket available.
did i mention Rear Wheel Drive?
oh yeah, and a nice touch of luxury - Something the GP and GTO are lacking.

G35
Can't deny the wicked exhaust note, either. Styling-wise though (and because I'm a sedan man), I'm more inclined to go for the Lexus IS350. 306hp, automatic only unfortunately...
