Ya, especially for FREE!. Play around with it, you should get some more info then shown and fan speeds and control. Not sure what all you got with the latitude. I bought the basic inspiron, but maxxed it out with options. It just worked out cheaper that way for me. I got a $399 inspiron and with $400 in options, got what what would have cost $1199 standard.

Ya, it'* just a program done by an independent developer with an interest in Dell laptops. I just happened upon it when i did a search for heat issues with the Inspirons. They have automatic fan control that doesnt react quick enough. I was doing video reformatting and burning and found mine to be getting way too hot. Once I got the program in I was surprised to see my CPU was reaching 201-203F before finally cooling. I now leave my fans forced on high full time. Last nights high was 176F, only hit 136F this morning.

Awesome! And bet your never thought all that info was available. LOL! It'* like putting your computer on all those fancy machines they hook you up to at the hospital. Glad you got it working. I keep my fan on forced high all the time. They are cheap and easy to replace. Chipsets arent.
