Black Magic Bullet Review
I bought a Black Magic Bullet Wheel Cleaning Tool today to try and clean our rims up. I picked it up at Walmart for around 24 bucks along with their tire shine gel that I will review later.
You just put the bullet into any cordless drill (They recommend a 114 to 18 volt cordless drill).
You need to first prep the tire by fully cleaning it and drying it. Next you apply polish to the wheel with a soft cloth, The kit came with a small trial bottle of Black Magic'* Titanium Wheel Polish, so we just used that. After applying an even layer of polish to the entire wheel just take your drill and start buffing the wheel. Using the Bullet is pretty easy, just keep it spinning and try to use all the areas of the cone shape, for corners the tip and for the flatters areas the side, by reversing the directing of the drill you get a clean part of the Bullet to work with.
After working the polish in just wipe any left over polish off with a soft cloth.
Here are some before shots of our rims, they are pretty bad after the winter.
And here are the after shots, My drill wasn't fully charged so this is only after about 10 minutes at the most, and I didn't have enough time to get everything worked out but there is most defiantly an improvement.
I am going to keep working on this rim with the rest of the Black Magic wheel cleaner then when that runs out I will pick up a different brand of wheel polish and review that as well. I will write up the Tire shine after the shine we have on now wears off.
