I dont know what part of texas youre in, but I can remember a couple of sping breaks ago we were driving through the panhandle ( I think) and there was a freak blizzard.. Over 1 foot of snow on the road.. for a good 5-8 hours, IN THE SPRING! We were all just sittin in our van.. thinking wtf?..
i know, I know, 1 foot of snow isnt crap for you northerners... but its a lot in texas.

*sings* It'* a small world after all

I used to live on the NE corner of 20th and 62nd, just south of Roosevelt. We moved because of a shooting on 18th and 61st, stupid gangs..... I had my first job at the Open Pantry at 22nd and 62nd, and my dad wired the bathrooms on Simmons Island

Yeah that is the ghetto right there. I lived in a fairly safe area on the northside (12th avenue near 18th st, Carthage College area). Probably good you got out, though. Kenosha is nothing special these days.
