Get your torrents from here - isoHunt

Kind of on the topic, hopefully without promoting illegal activity.... How do those places like Vongo, and now Netflix, protect the downloadable movies they are offering? With all the anti-piracy stuff going on now, you'd think the movie people would be thrpowing a bright-blue hissy fit over these people...

probably in the same way that itunes tries to protect music. its probably not perfect either

As far as I know they use a proprietary format that only works with their software and is tied to the software serial number.

I've never used iTunes, but the proprietary format idea makes sense. I'm sure someone'* already got a work around, though...



Not fishing for hints, just so'* the mods can reat assure we're not heading down the wrong track. Just being curious. I personally can't see sitting at my computer to watch a movie....

throw a spare computer in the bedroom and connect it to the tv with the tv-out port that most video cards have

you don't need alot of cpu power to watch a movie
