Kind of on the topic, hopefully without promoting illegal activity.... How do those places like Vongo, and now Netflix, protect the downloadable movies they are offering? With all the anti-piracy stuff going on now, you'd think the movie people would be thrpowing a bright-blue hissy fit over these people...

I've never used iTunes, but the proprietary format idea makes sense. I'm sure someone'* already got a work around, though...
Not fishing for hints, just so'* the mods can reat assure we're not heading down the wrong track. Just being curious. I personally can't see sitting at my computer to watch a movie....

throw a spare computer in the bedroom and connect it to the tv with the tv-out port that most video cards have
you don't need alot of cpu power to watch a movie
