After all, you can drink the stuff all day and the only effect is to make you **** lots
You got that right on.

The acid test is actually drinking them.
Anyone that says Canadian and American beer have the same alchohol content has never drunk Canadian beer.

Nocando in the States. Shipping beer without without a federal tax stamp is illegal by us mail, UPS, Fedex, or any other means. I've tried and failed. That'* why I save my homebrew for meets. :(

That is a myth... canadian beers are just as strong as american beers.. until someone can find a reputable source that proves otherwise, it is a big myth

My good man, you are just plain wrong.

Canadian beer is STRONGER than American beer. Except for the specialty beers mentioned elswhere but I wouldn't consider them true beer.
Drinking the average American Beer is like drinking flavoured water, which is nice on a hot day when a refreshing drink is needed. I make a point of stocking up on whatever beer is on sale when I'm south of the 49th. I feed it to any of my friends that I don't want staying too long.

Will, I will be down that way one day, and I will bring some homemade booze with me.

You owe me a bottle for the filter 2000SilverBullet and I just picked up for you. You can deliver it in person at WCBF '08.
Many thanks for picking up that filter for me. Now can you tell me when and where WCBF '08 is going to be held or at least point me to a link so I don't have to claw through this whole forum looking.

Standard Bud is 5% on the button, Bud Ice rocks 5.5%

Which I can only assume is to compete with the Canadian Import beer to the US. Frankly I have to giggle when I see Molson Canadian and Labbat'* Blue being called "imported" beer on US channels.

but I digress

The only beer I can drink is Sol, Corona and the odd Rickards Red, which is a 5.2%

WCBF '08 is in the heart of Microbrew USA. Corvallis OR, last weekend in July.

No watered down beer in this town. I gaurantee you that.

Reremendation from Me. See if you can get your hands on some Bittbuger From germany Or on some Belgian Beer ( the one I had on my trip was a little sweet for me... but it was Rasberry flavored... Dont know what I was thinking lol) But with the flavored Belgian beers all of you who have wives/ Girlfriends who dont like beer can still buy her a beer and have her drink it Its like a stinking Wine cooler!

But no Seriously Bitt Black is Yummy and the most flavorfilled black beer Ive drank. Bittburger ( normal?) Is all we have at our BBQ'* and If your feeling like something Light theres Bittburger Sun.

I am told all of these are sold in specialty stores Stateside... and I sure hope they are... A Bud is good when I want a soda but when I want a Beer I want a good thick intoxicating BEER!

Yes, Framboise Raspberry Lambic is popular with the non-beer drinking ladies
