Beer Snobs
Any other beer snobs on here?
connoisseurs of craft brews?
Im sitting here with a 22oz Stone 11th Anniversary Ale (Black IPA) and wondering if any of my other BC brethren are beer geeks like myself.
Anyone curious about becoming a beer geek should check out www.beeradvocate.com , another forum and HUGE beer reference place that i try to frequent

Duh.
Stone IPA is killer stuff. Nice hoppy bite. We have it in 22 oz bottles here. Wanna see a pic of all the empties of it I have?
I save the 22-24 oz bottles for bottling my own homebrew. Less capping, and it'* STILL just ONE beer, right?

Stone does make some amazing brews... The Ruination Double IPA and this Anniversary Ale are two of my favorite beers out there.. along with Southern Tier UnEarthly IPA, Dogfish head brews, and most any DIPAs, and Imperial Stouts
No need for the pic of the empties.. god knows i have over 150 different empties (most of which have been boxed up to make space for the babies room) the 22oz and 750ml belgian bottles are still on display though

They have an uncanny knack for boosting the alcohol content without sacrificing flavor. I achieved this by accident last year (buncha drunk Bvillers to prove it), and it'* pretty good stuff.

I'm not a connoisseur, but I like new and different beers. I love the flavorful beers out there like Dogfish Head, Magic Hat, the not-so-well-known Sam Adams brews (Double Bock is amazing).
I'm drinking Dogfish Head'* Midas Touch - barley, honey, white muscat grapes and saffron. Friggin good stuff and 9% alcohol!
I tried Long Trail'* "Double Bag" last weekend and it was extremely smooth, but had 7.2% alcohol. Magic Hat'* "Jinx" was great too!
