I suggest anyone who owns a GTO check their tires.

Just when you thought that simply checking your Tire Pressue was your biggest worry when it came to tires.

Another one of GM'* awesome designs in action... 
Add this stupidity to the composite UIM, LIM gaskets, window regulators, Dex-Cool, steering shafts, trunk leaks, moonroof problems, etc....
Now they can have another issue that they can look the other way on, instead of fixing it (like the above problems)...
Keep up the great work GM!

That may be true, but you heard in the report that GM isn't doing anything about it... That'* what caused my previous rant.

It'* amazing what some ppl will do to try to save face for GM these days..
Holden is GM just like Pontiac.
They've been known to rub since the first batch of cars came over to our shores. Someone'* car probably had something going on, shredded one, and is using their local news outlets to try and get a new car.
