What more can I say besides thank you. And trust that I wasn't trying to scare anyone. And Nor was little baby X. As I sit here in the caf reading the posted comments I have tears in my eyes (maybe due to lack of sleep and adrenilin sp? This club is the greatest and the people here are second to none. Last night was the scariest night of my life rates up there to when my son was born quiet as a mouse. For a second I paniced till he yelled. We just saw the DR and he informed us that Nan'* blood sugar was through the roof also being dehydrated was no help the contractions likely due to the above facts. She was a little upset hearing that always thinking the worst. But at least we have an explanation as to why. And a plan in effect to fix it hopefully. It thankfully turned out to be a beautiful morning. For all of us. Oh and the baby'* activity was likely due to the high sugar level. But for now I have to go I'm starting to lose it again but this time in the tears of joy kinda way. Again a million thank you'* to everyone I wouldn't no won't ever forget the way BC comes together.

The missus and I had a few scares ourselves. Lost out first pregnancy, then had to spend the night in the hospital once when the wife was very ill.
Gotta be one of the worst experiences of my life.
Glad you were able to get through it, sounds like the worst is over.

Hang in there. If it happens again, they have drugs that can stop the contractions. Be strong for them.

Sorry to hear this Rob, and yes I will pray for You and Yours as well. Glad the contractions have subsided. I went thru a premie with my second son and it was very upsetting experience. As Wil stated, Be strong for them and Your sake and show Your Wife You can cope and handle whatever comes Your collective way. God Bless.

I had a scare when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was 27 weeks along and I was having contractions And mind you I was only 16 so I was freaking out.

Went to the ER, they said they were a conbination of Braxton Hicks Contractions and gas

It happens, but like Wren said, they do make drugs that will stop the contractions if it gets to that point. You, your wife, and lil baby x are in my prayers, and I'm sure all will turn out great!
