Baby is arriving.
I usually don't start a topic on here. I am usually the dude that sits back and chimes in once in a while if I know anything about what is being talked about. Anyhow... Me and my girlfriend is having a baby girl. We go to the hospital tomorrow morning for a C section. The baby is coming out a month early so I am a little nervous as well as excited. I have not told anyone on here that I am a dad-to-be because I wanted to make sure she would carry full term. My Girlfriend has had some troubles during the pregnancy but the doc says the baby will be healthy and normal, just early.
wish us luck tomorrow and I can't wait to have my little girl fall in love with Bonnevilles just like her old man.

I get Aunt rights by default! Congrats! That is so awesome! I know how scary it is, especially the first time...best of luck tomorrow and keep us posted. Any questions...just ask. Between all of us "older" folks here, we've got hundreds of years of experience of child raising.
Oh yea...first words...all of my kids said "dada", much to my dismay. A doc once told me that it was because that is the easiest word to say...but Bon-ne is a close second. Work on it!
Hugs to you and your gf!

congrats!!! I agree with no need to keep secrets! My kids both said daddy befor anything but my 2 year old girl was able to say 'Go Bonnwiville" before even "I hungry" came out of her mouth! It was her way of asking to go for a drive.

Congrats and good luck!
The first word will not be anything you want it to be. We thought our first son'* first words were dadda, but it was just the way he made sounds. He would go "dadadadadada" . His actual first word was "cracker", and our second son'* first word was "Uh Oh!"
