No it'* not a joke, it'* for real. I present the WIldfire WF250-C -

They are $5,995 and get 72MPG.

Engine 248cc Hi-Po Liquid Cooled
Rated HP 17
Ignition CDI
Transmission 5-Speed Manual, Plus Reverse
Max Speed Up to 50 mph
Cruising Speed 40 mph
Net Weight 706 lbs
Gross Weight 1206 lbs

Load Capacity 550lbs

Accessories

Front and Rear Heater

My dad thinks it is the coolest thing he has seen in a long time, and really wants one. It is classified as a motorcycle, so drivers/passengers under 18 must wear helmets. There is also a truck model.

Also note that the one shown is a preproduction model, and the interior fit and finish in that one is subpar compared to the production model. I read some reviews (only a few as of now) and I am finding out that they are fairly rugged and move pretty well for 17hp.
