Effin' Neon...
The neon has been down for over a month now. I just woke up one morning and it wouldn't start. We tried EVERYTHING. After leaving one of the sensors out for a few weeks, my fiance decided to try starting the car for kicks and giggles. It started! WTF?!? It'* now running just fine with the same daggone sensor that was in it before. Maybe it was just gummed up.
I'm back to feeling like I'm scooting my butt on the ground, but I can't argue too much with 28mpg (unless, God forbid, I get in an accident). Going from a Chevy K1500 Extended Cab to a Neon feels like going from a Caddilac to a Go-Kart.
BTW, there'* a reason I'm back in the thing. Last night while coming up to an intersection, I heard a loud CLUNK while I was braking. My rear brakes just COMPLETELY quit working in my truck. It also has decided it needs an oil pump, an alternator, and possibly a rear end (it'* whining). I guess I can't complain about my fiance keeping all the random parts around the house anymore, because all of those parts are already in the garage!
If it'* not one thing, it'* another.
Oh well.
