My New Car?
MY NEW CAR!
I am planning when I get the Riviera payed off to get a new car. (next summer possibly.) That above isn't actually what I'm getting, but it very well could be. That is a 2001 BMW 323i. It is going for $15,000!! I've always loved BMW'* and driving my aunt'* proved to be a whole lot of fun. Plus, they're built awesome, reliable, and very eye catching. The only reason I don't want one is because I am 19. It would look really bad for someone my age to be driving a car like that. People would get the wrong idea of "rich kid" even though I'm not, even though you could very easily buy a honda for the same price, but they don't know that. Or, I'm considering a 2000+ SSEi, GTP, regal GS, or MAYBE a trans-am. ( I don't like t-tops or convertables though.) Comments? Remember, I am paying for the car totally by myself. I think I'll end up with either the GS or SSEi though due to insurance costs. I simply can't afford that. I only make around $600/month on my part-time job.

i'm gonna have to say avoid the BMW if you have to go as low as a 323i, they are a car to be seen in that'* all... they are nice cars they look pretty good, but fit and finish wise i've been underwelmed by both i've driven(323Ci, and 328i). both cars, first agressive shift i made, the shift **** poped off in my hand, and in both cases the car went back to the dealer, i wouldn't pay that much for a car that'* shift **** has a habit of poping off. but i'm not all that impressed with the engine, it'* rather gutless...

as sick as this may sound, it'* true: your riv is (generally speaking, based on jd power numbers), more reliable than a bimmer would be.
kind of sucks, huh?
another auto industry myth, which checks in the library right next to toyota can do no evil...
yeah, in long term reliability, buick is #2 (overall), while BMW falls into 13th place.
