That is some bird. I did a random check of some of the comments on that page and it looks like a Barred Eagle-Owl. I wonder what it does when it gets mad.

Thats what I think to. I seen some weird footed birds over there. I was thinking some sort of eagle owl, there are alot varieties. But they have smaller and gold eyes and them feet just dont fit. Quite a hooked beak that critters got. Lucky he'* a friendly sort.
