Default Anyone know of a good [active] woodworking forum?

I'm looking to extend the rip capacity of my Dewalt table saw. As my usual thrifty ways continue, I feel that I can make one for about half of the cost of one already made. It seems a little too simple so I wanted to run it by others. I've searched for some forums but many had the second latest post back in August... not very active.

Any woodworkers here?

My dad uses a lot of newsgroups for his. I think rec.woodworking is one of them. This from a guy who has maybe a decade of Fine Woodworking stored up just incase.

Just don't put your email in the newsgroup, i guess he got tons of adult spam on that old addy
