Default Very Scary sh*t at Work Today (Involves a gun) Also McD News

Start from 7:40 AM.

While my cars still out of comission I called for a ride (forgot to secure one last night, stupid me) and I had to wait till 10 am to get to work when I'm supposed to be in at 8. No big deal.

Fast forward to 10 and I'm in and working upfront (ironically my sister is on the other upfront register) and at about 10:32 a kid comes in and orders 2 Sausage McGriddles. He hands me the money BUT before that he pulled out a F*cking gun and set it on the counter. My eyes are on it like a fly but admittedly I was stupid for not doing anything while it was there. I give him his change and he puts the gun in his pocket. After he got his food he opened the door that connects the gas station and the store and got thrown into the window and handcuffed by an officer waiting for him. Turns out he did that same thing in the gas station and a customer inside the McD'* saw it and called the police. So yeah I'm going WTF in my head a million times. So right after that I had to take the trash out and saw 4 police cruisers out in the lot and the officers talking.

So we''ll go about 10 minutes later I'm back on the register and a officer comes in and is talkiing with the customer that called the police. My boss asked me if I had anythng to say to the police which I do. Went out there told the police that I saw the gun and told him my info.

Later I'm on my break (10 minutes whoop de ******* do) and chatting with the lady at the gas station. She said that the boy was 11 and not sent to juvi but driven home. She said that the boy was crying and hyperventilation not knowing why he got arrested. Hmmmm I wonder, MAYBE.... JUST MAYBE it was the gun that he had on him. BUT it also turned out it was a FAKE gun. But it looked real. Black, no orange thingy on the end, shiny. Couldn't tell if it was fake or real to me. :?

Now that that BullShits over. Some McD related stuff.

Toasted Deli Subs are going away At the end of the month.

Southwest Salads are ending Either in Aug. or Sept.

For u sausage McSkillet Burrito fans we have a Chicken McSkillet Burrito coming in the near future. Not sure when.

And I still can't find another job to get outta there

See u all later. Any questions 'bout what happened? lemme know....

McDonalds has dug itself into the "shitty food" hole so trying to introduce "healthy" sandwiches and salads isn't really ever going to happen.

But anyway, ya, nothing you can really do about what went down today, that kid with the toy gun is an idiot and I'd keep lookin for another job

I'm lovin it :?

Don't kick yourself for not trying to grab the gun. You reacted appropriately to the situation.
