Ok, He has an adj. FPR, but doesn't know the setting.
He has what he thinks is an adj. MAF, but obviously doesn't know the setting of it...

He is getting a searching idle, from 500 to 1500 obviously, he'* had in in for repairs, but now the problem is back again. The mechanic said the FPR was at fault, but he thinks the work was not performed because the "stock" one was installed (how does he know if it'* been changed or not?)

Basically, He'* screwed with the fuel system alot, doesn't know any of the settings of the parts he'* installed, and wants you to tell him what'* wrong...

Or you could just smack him upside the head and make buy a FPG and set his ADj. MAF to 0.....

He finally found his copy of "hooked on phonics" and gave me a clear idea WTF his issue is. 1- he'* got a adj fuel press reg- but never set it. 2 -he got the "A" MAF from a junk yard. All V8 F-bodys used a heated wire MAF -he got a V6 MAF. Don't know exactly why but I'm sure there not interchangeable.
