Anyone ever watch The Black Donnellys?
Has anyone ever watched this show? I LOVE the show. It'* a good replacement for the sopranos and is very well written.
Check it out here: http://www.nbc.com/The_Black_Donnellys/
You can watch the episodes online. They have recently released the season #1 on DVD if people want to get it.
Unfortunately, the show has been canceled by NBC. Not sure why, really. THey replaced it with a couple Heroes spin offs.
There is a group of people trying to save the show and get it picked up by HBO, as that seems to be a better place for it.

They also have an online petition here:

If you can, check it out and let me know what you think, and if you can, sign the petition.
Thanks.

I signed that petition a while ago. I thought the show was great, but ratings are ratings I guess, and TV is frought with brainless game shows nowadays while good shows like this get cut.

Oh, and I agree that it reminds me of the Soprano'* . Only this time it is Irish, focused on a family who is at the street level instead of the higher ups, and targeted at late teen to the early 30'* crowd. But I am 40 and love the show too.
