Default Anyone else OCD about their cars/etc?

I think I am way to nit-picky about my cars. I cannot stand it when I hear a new squeak, rattle or any other quirk. I know its gotton out of hand, and I really need to stop. I'm kind of a perfectionist about everything, but when it comes to my cars, it'* the worst. I know nothing is perfect, and I am defintley trying to overcome this, anyone else know what I mean?

and I mean ALL JUNK everything in the trunk and glove compartments. (boy can we collect a lot of **** in there) then the next day I relized I took out my key to the locking lugs. what if I get a flat. so I put that and that alone back in my center console.
OK get this... its round right. I'm driving around and hear this clunk...... clunk...... clunk.
I'm thinking WTF is that noise. never heard that before. (turns down radio)
dont hear anything. because i'm driving on a straight road.
take some turns and I hear the noise again. **** **** ****....

Heheh YES.
I dunno, I clean my car nightly usually, some "ME" time, takes ten mins at most, dust it off..maybe hit it with a rag and some mothers..a good once over, so it looks good in the morning..
I keep my engine compartment very neat and spotless...
uhh..my interior is usually alright, needs a vacuum though..
Squeaks and rattles? That drives me insane..

Boosty and I are also the same way... I rode unknown # of miles on our trip back from Orgyon reaching back to calm an annoying rattle coming from his rear passenger door handle. Diagnosed it to be the handle. Discussions followed on how to fix it... yea... you are not alone there buddy!

well i am usually very OCD about my car...

but at this point I am only mechanically OCD, as for appearance, i have come to the screw it phase. My Paint is FINISHED, my body is still ok apart from some rust...but remarably, not one dent...go figure...

anyways, I try to keep my interior rather clean, but right now its dirtier than sin.

but as for squeaks and rattles...you may not believe this, but I dont have any

its most likely as quiet on the freeway as it was at 000001.00 miles except the odo looks like 140468

my engine does have a odd knock at idle just after starting it, but if you rev it it goes away and idles fine...oh well..she drives fine...

My current wheel/tire combo has been a b*tch to get balanced, I went back, it had to be ten times before they got the balance to a point that was acceptable, without the thing shedding weights. The manager told me the last time that the two guys he had on it were his most experienced guys and it still took them 2 tries before I was satisfied. Any kind of work performed by a dealer or shop has to be PERFECT. I will NOT accept anything less if I'm paying for labor, nor will I accept charges if I have to go back because it'* not.

I am PSYCHO about any new noise or odd one-time clunk, and the sound of a small piece of gravel on glass will send me into a cursing fit that can last twenty minutes, no exageration. Chips are my biggest bug.
I got a new door ding at work, just before CEBF, the day before I was getting it detailed. I spent half an hour comparing paint colors in the parking lot. I was FURIOUS!
