You like me... You really like me....
The whole unemployment thing just kinda put me into a funk, mentally and physically, for a while. No offers coming in, no interviews, sub-zero weather, etc got me real down for a while.
I have to give credit to The Missus for dragging me back out. Once her attitude towards everything improved a bit, she threatened to take a scrubby to me if I didn't at least shower (I gotta admit, I wasn't pleasant to be around). Then, she managed to remind me that the bills were getting paid, we were eating, and that life wasn't quite so bad.
So, I'm alive. And almost back to what passes for normal for me.....

Hey buddy! Good to hear from you!
I know it must be hard to stay in good spirits when there seems to be no action in the job market. Just keep at it, man. I get really unmotivated when I'm sitting around with nothing to do (no work, no flying..... just.... nothing), and I know how it can snowball from day to day. I wish I could offer better words of encouragement, but all I can tell you is just keep getting up and looking for jobs. The right one (or one good enough for right now) will eventually find you, and everything will seem right with the world again. Kudos to your wife for helping you shake the rust off and get back in contact with the world.
We were just a little worried about where you had gone... I was looking through some old threads and read a few of your posts, and it occurred to me we hadn't heard a peep out of you for a few weeks. Just hang in there, John

HE'* ALIVE ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I know just how the unemployment blues can be.
I just kept the thought in my head that there was something ouit there waiting on me,I just had to go out and find it. I kept that same outlook for 8 months and finally the "perfect" job almost literally fell in my lap
