I sure none of u really care but, I've been working night shift...I.E. 3pm to 1:30am+ for the last 2 1/2yrs.....Friday nights also Feels like i've missed out on alot of things.....well I was just told that a job that I put in 4 on days....HIRED ME....WOOT The only drawback is a .50c decrease, but in another month 1/2 i'll get my review and get it right back!! Right now I select in the warehouse....and when our work is done we're outta there...and lately that'* been early. Working 4 "10hr" days, now i'll be working at 5am until 1:30pm....walking out pretty much the same time everyones walking in .....Nice 80dregee day....walking out...."have a great night guys, i'm gonna go home and chill in the pool!!!" Can't wait!!

I feel for you back when i was working shifts ( i always preferred nights) I worked 45 12 hour night shifts straight. 730pmto730am i loved it needless to say so did the government..

four ten hour days FTW. I wish I still had them hours, but ever since getting the office position, its a straight 9-5. Still not bad, but its nice to have that extra day.

Selecting can be workout but they pay is usually pretty good! I used to work at the PannTraffic warehouse and they had some selectors making 100K a year. They been there 25 years though.

See I wish I could find a job like that so I can spend all afternoon with my daughter during the summer months when she'* out of school. I miss so much quality time with her. But being a single mom, I gotta do what I gotta do. But congrats on the new job!

yes enjoy it!!! i have worked 2nd shift for the longest time!!! thats aboutthe only shift i have ever worked... once i went to school it was all weird being done with everything at like 2-3 in the afternoon its like what do i do now george which way do i go....
you will love it once summer is around... gettin out in time to go check out the beach... well if theres one around you... or what ever the local hangout spot may be...
oh ya and 4 10 hr shifts!!!!!! thats the way to do it right there!!!!!!

Well...I used to work 4 10hr shifts...but never ended up being that. When we are done with selecting we can leave...which I always did....but now I am guarenteed 40hr a week w/the new shift!! Yup...i'll be syked(sp?) to be gettin out at 1:30 it the afternoon...working 10hr days I felt SO tired from the night before I never got anything done around the house....but now i'll be able to work around the house and on my car...COOL!!!
