Default Anybody know of a cutlass forum?

Does anybody know of a forum for 90'* cutlass supreme'*? I have a buddy that is having problems with his 94 cutlass supreme - 3.1 and automatic. the tranny is acting up when cold - when taking off it acts like it is in a higher gear or slipping - i.e. rpms go up but is doggy. after a while (ususally less than a minute) it is fine. same symptoms in reverse. Any ideas?

Not sure, but the Oldsmobile Forums may be able to help at www.oldsmobileforums.com , or we can take a crack at it here. What tranny is that?

Olds forums is good, still small but growing, I suggest looking at a few 3100 based forums too.

Also www.automotiveforums.com HUGE site

Thanks - Again, I know nothing about oldsmobiles, just that it is a 94 cutlass supreme w/ a 3.1 and automatic. Don't know how many tranny possibilities there are?

Same underpinnings as a malibu. In fact it looks like just the head/tail lights are different....

Thanks,
only seems to be slipping in 1st and reverse. from his description it sounds like it shifts fine in and out of gear. A couple of weeks ago, it did happen to "hunt" for gears on a hill at freeway speed (did it two separate times at the same place on the same road). - If i remember right, its at about 140k miles (don't know the flushing history).

So, then, anyone with a 3100 and a 3400 ought to invest in an extra tranny cooler as well? Or do they even have tranny cooling lines like we do?
