He walks up to my car...he mumbles "may i see your licence, registration, and proof of insurance?" At this point, I knew why I got pulled over. I was enjoying a massage provided by my bass...I wasn't in a residential area, so I'm like, no biggie. I say..."what?" like I couldn't hear him. He laughed, I laughed, he says "so I'm sure you know why I stopped you then"...

I figure since he was laughing, seemed pretty cool, he'd just let me go. But then he sits and writes me a nuisance ticket. "I think it'* only like, $25...just go to the PD downtown and get it taken care of in 3-10 days, and it won't go on your licence."

Well...no, it can't go on my licence, because it'* not a moving violation...it'* a municipal civil infraction. I know better than that.

I'm pretty sure I'll just pay it...I could probably get it dropped since he wrote the wrong address, but $25 is worth it to avoid the hassle...to me atleast.

Then, to make myself feel better, I went and spent money and got goodies to get my car all shiny for the meet!!!

The thing about the counting problem is that I told him I have 2, but one'* not working...which is true (bad speaker)...either way, it is pretty funny! I actually drove away laughing about it...

That kind of error on a ticket is NOT cause to get it thrown out. Don't even try. Mistakes on tickets even dealing with the color of a car won't get you out of anything.

I am with Bill. Mistakes are not as big as a deal as people think. I knew who got a ticket for not making a complete stop at a stop sign. Ticket had the wrong model of car and wrong street name, and the ticket still held up.
Sucks you got busted, but yeah, for $25 you might as well just pay it and be done with it.

$25??? Wow that is low for loud music. It ranges $200-500 in my city, depending on what location you were pulled over in. I think it'* $200-300 for main roads, and $400-500 for residential streets.
