Any gamers here?
http://www.beyondunreal.com/main/ut2007/about.php
Finally a new one is coming out.
I tried to fill my void for a while by playing CS, but that doesn't hold a candle to UT.
I'm seriously considering actually buying this game rather than uh ... 'borrowing' it once it comes out.
I knew I built a dual-core system for a reason.

I'm running a single GeForce 6800 with a Athlon 3800 dual-core and 2 gigs of RAM and I can run Quake 4 at 1152x864 on max settings with no problems. I don't really need another card. I'm sure Unreal won't be too harsh on the system.

Yeah, people have a tendency to believe the hype and spend way too much on computer stuff. I think my card is an FX5200, and I run Halflife 2 (whatever the latest one is), and Doom 4 just fine at 1024x
I may not get 6 shades of black, like some people, but it'* still playable. I suck at both of 'em, but they run great!

i have a ATI x800pro PCI express and it plays e erything just fine.
and with the 4400+ x2 with 2x1MB L2 cache
but new games for PCs just arnt being programed right.
like that new game that came out, Oblivion Elder scroll...,
i have a friend that has dual 6800 Ultras ($1,000) and it still doesn't play it at 100% with out it being choppy, and he knows WAY more about PCs ten i do, so he knows how to optimize them...
its just sad that console game systems are getting better then PC'*...
i used to be HUGE!!! in to PC gameing but affter speding like $500 there, $350 here, $900 there.... and so on... it still just gets me the same as a console system now... when for $300-400 i can get a Xboc 30 that looks just as good as my $1,500 PC i built and it will last longer...
alwell, im done with my rant lol

My video card was 150. It can pretty much play any game out there without issues.
My friend runs an SLI setup that lags a lot, where mine doesn't. The software just doesn't take advantage of dual SLI cards in most cases.
UT 2007 will offer graphics and physics that you won't see on the console for a while.
Half-Life 2 is also one of those games with things you'll never see on the console.
