Another one bites the dust (this ones green -not white)
Well, tonight at approx 7:45 CST "Ol' Blue Eyes" took her final hit. She'* hit before, but this time it was two deers at once at 50 mph.
They both hit in the same spot, pushing the left side of the bumper up and back, broke the left headlight, buckled the hood, broke thge drivers fender and foglight, pushed the radiator core support back, and where the bumper strut goes into the frame it got jammed back and up. Probably would have set the airbags off if I had had put the replacements in when I fixed the front end in March.
Will take pics of the damage tomorrow. I would probably think about fixing it, but with 198,6xx miles on it it would cost too much for the value. So for now I am stuck without a driveable car (again) as I am flat broke due to only have a job that pays $7.28 hr and I have to drive 62 miles round trip for it (I don't think I will actually be working there anymore because I am broke and have no car and so that kinda makes going to work impossible.
Anyhow, hopefully I can find a local job that pays half decent and maybe in a few months (probably close to a year as I still owe $2000 between this and my Lebaron convertable which has a blown motor).
Anyhow, just thought I'd share the bad news (like we need any more here)

Sounds like you're ok! That'* good. I almost got hit like that by a deer once, but in my old 88 nova... which would been tossed. Blue eyez did it'* final job, and gotta be proud of that.
Well maybe you got enough parts from the old one and this one to make a frankenstein? If not, are you gonna try to part this one out too?

BonneMeMN- my 92'* (Ol Blue Eyes SR) front end has already been used in the fixing two cars (in fact the left fender is the one that just got totalled). The only thing left of the 1992 is the suspension and the motor/tranny (all the frame forward of the struts was cut and there are no body parts on the front anymore).
Probably will hold onto this car and keep my eyes open for another Bonneville.
Willren- Liabilaty coverage only bodily injury and damage to other cars and their occupants -doesn't cover own car. Have to have comprehensive or Full coverage for that.
