Default New Promotions for a couple members!

For some time now, the Admins and Moderators of this fine site have been discussing the contributions of some of our 'key' members, particularly those that go above and beyond, and have the knowledge and experience to back it up.

2 names came to the top of the list very quickly. acg_ssei and fuddyduddy121. Both of these guys give accurate, detailed, and easy to understand LOGICAL troubleshooting and mechanical advice on a daily basis, and have saved many of our asses on several occasions. Too many to count.

There are others that really stand out in other categories, such as Audio, Performance, Automotive History, etc. But for now, we really wanted to recognize the two that have contributed the most to keeping our beloved cars on the road in good, safe condition.

For their contribution, a special rank has been assigned to acg_ssei and fuddyduddy121. From this day forward, they will be ranked as "Resident Gearhead" with 5 stars for the time being. This is to show our appreciation and respect for them and their help and knowledge.

The stars may change to a different color in the future, options are being discussed offline (my idea was to combine the yellow and red to make orange and someone else suggested black, for grease), but for the time being, the titles are changed, so please join me in congratulating AND thanking these two members for an amazing amount of contribution in the last year. You have the unanimous approval from the Administrators and Moderators of this site, and the members, as well.

Kudos, and keep it up, you two.

That info should be in your Owner'* Manual. If you don't have it, go to www.mygmlink.com, register, and download a PDF version of it.

Or try this link: https://www.mygmlink.com/pdf/go2cont...bonneville.pdf

Although reading through that, it looks like it may not be an option for your system.

Thanks much for the recognition. It'* now official - I am a Bonneville nerd.

Here are the theoretical answers to the keyless entry system - Now who wants to be the guinea pig?
