Goldenbullet, and whoever else may be interested...I get the Nature'* Cure at the store, with all the other acne stuff...although I shop at a store called Meijer (it'* local to us Michigan/Indiana/Ohio/Illinois people), I've seen it at Walmart before, and you could probably find it at a Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, or whatever big pharmacy chain is near you. Looks like this:

Give it up to 2 months to start noticing results...I was pretty skeptical at first, and about to give up, but then I realized a few months later that I had noticeably less breakouts than I used to.

X2. I've been off of accutane for nearly a year now and have not had a single pimple since the end of my course. It is an amazing product! You just HAVE to have insurance though because it'* nearly $1,000 a month in prescriptions. It was really hard on my body, but in the end, it was so worth it!

I did have a few side effects though that are on-going, mostly having to do with my thyroid. I gained 30 pounds in one month after starting.

If it'* a cystic type of acne then I would really suggest it. You don't want to be covered in scars! Cystic type acne are the large pustules that are large and inflamed. They're the type that cause scaring.

I used Tetracyclene or whatever its called for a while. Personally it made me sick all the time, and I stopped taking it before I found out if it worked or not. One of its side effects is it also turns your teeth yellow....so then you just have more appearance problems.

I was also put on some prescription creams and stuff, but never used them routinely enough to tell a difference.

I have used Proactive, still do even at 20 yrs old. If I stay on top of things and use it routinely it does work. I believe theres a knock-off called Nature'* Cure that would probably work just as well and might be a little cheaper and available at like Wal-Mart and such.

I can also attest to the drinking lots of water helps...Ive gone through stretches where I stop drinking soda, and drink nothing but water, and my acne does clear up slightly more than usual.
