Some of my favorites are: Molly Hatchett: Flirtin' with Disaster
Triumph: Lay it on the line
Montrose: Rock Candy or Bad Motor Scooter
Anything Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Def Leopard,

I hear any of those songs and my car gets into rockin' mode

A few that I highly recommend:
1) "The Odyssey"--Orgy
2) "Another Hole in the Head"--Nickelback
3) "El Distorto de Melodica"--Everclear
4) "Chop Suey"--System of a Down
5) "Out of Control"--Hoobastank (I blame Sol'* sledding video for getting me addicted to this song )
6) "Not Gonna Get Us"--TATU (yes, seriously.)
7) "Song 2"--Blur
8.)"Addicted to Bass"--Apollo 440 (love LoVe LOVE this song)
9) "It'* Electric"--Metallica
10) "Beer"--Reel Big Fish
11) "Bottom of a Bottle"--Smile Empty Soul
12) "Faint"--Linkin Park
13) "The Worst Day Ever"--Simple Plan
14) "Superbeast"--Rob Zombie (preferably the Girl on a Motorcycle Mix, available on the End of Days soundtrack)
15) "Doll-Dagga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag"--Marilyn Manson
16) "Don't Let Me Get Me"--Pink
17) "Fat Lip"--Sum 41
18.) "She Was My Girl"--Jerry Cantrell
19) "Sway"--Coal Chamber
20) "Bad Religion"--Godsmack

It was hard for me to keep this to only 20 Most of these are fast rock with a few pop songs intermingled in there...my tastes vary. Good luck with both the CD and the road trip!!!
