MLB 05 Discussion.
She'* underway, and i can't wait to get to a few games.
And someone @ ESPN has finally figured out what we're doing up here in the midwest. Screw NY and Boston, we've developed talent, not bought it hoping for it to all come together.

AL Central looks strong, but we picked up Corey Koskie from the Twinkies so hopefully that works out well for the Jays.
Following the AL East, I'll bank on NY and Boston to finish 1-2. My Jays have a LONG distance shot at WIld Card, but there are stronger teams to the west.
With Halliday back, Delgado gone, Koskie in, Wells in center, Hudson getting better and Hinske leaving a shaky 3rd base the Jays should be a contender. I love baseball and its nice to have it back!
Esp since there is no hockey playoffs to look forward too. :?

Yeah everytime the Twins let someone go (heck they sent half a team to Boston) i get sad, but then someone new comes from the pipeline, ususally with a lot of years in the future.
Now if Santana ever goes... Who are they gonna play "smooth" for when a pitcher is pulled at the Dome?
Sucks, we lost opening day.

I was looking for a picture of the "Go Twins, and take the Timberwolves with you" T-shirt. I'm not a fan of wither sprt, or thier attitudes.
But I found this instead. Too damned cute for words....

How 'bout those Cubbies! What a strong offensive showing they put up yesterday! I'm hoping for more of the same today and in the weeks and months to come.
