a few quotes from that artical above:
Not much new info but you can tell that that car has been modded way past sane. I am sure that that engine gets ripped apart every so often to keep it alive. When was the last time you had to rip apart a 3800 after driving a 1/4 mile?
Just look at this engine, there is nothing left of the 2.2 ecotec:
the de-stroked 2.0-liter turbocharged and intercooled Ecotec engine produces more than 700 horsepower on a diet of methanol fuel
Chevy'* front-wheel drive motorsports program is powered by methanol
Chevrolet is working with GM'* Service Parts Operations to develop a portfolio of accessories targeted at the front-drive performance market, including custom accessories and a supercharger kit for 2.4-liter Quad 4 engines that boosts output by 40 horsepower over stock.

Just imagine how much engine we could fit in a Bonnevile if you pull out the hood, quarter panels, bumper, and all the braceing in front of the firewall!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...the Ecotec is nothing to sneeze at. If you're a gearhead in need of a small little engine with decent hp numbers its a fine engine. And aluminum is nice and light!
