Sold my Grand Prix
Yup, you remember the $300 Grand Prix I bought a few months ago? http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ght=grand+prix
Well, I haven't touched it other then replace the coil pack with two known good ones and it still didn't run right. I was going to make a JY run and get a new ICM for it, but my neighbor called me the other day and said he knew someone that is interested in it. He came out yesterday and looked at it, offered $400
This morning, I cleaned out some tools I had in it, aired up the front tires, gave it a jump start and the guy drove it home
Not only did I make $100 on the deal, I also got the stereo out of it. I had a $300 JVC in my car, and the Pioneer Premier that was in that GP was sooooo much better, so now the Premier is in my '93 and the JVC is in my closet
I guess you could say I got my money worth out of it
I was going to use it as a winter beater, but now I got my '95 Monte Carlo back so I didn't need the GP anymore.

It had a junk drivers seat
broken window switches
cracked windshield bad
front bumper looked like crap
only runs on four cylinders
bad headlight switch
leaks oil
bad motor mounts
broken drivers side door handle, can only be opened from the inside
Power steering only held fluid for about three minutes, not sure where it was leaking
It also had almost 200,000 miles on it
Junkyard prices around here would have put me at least another $200 into it.
I was totally honest with the guy though, I told him EVERYTHING I knew about the car and he still bought it
