I took a 97 K3500 crew cab, long bed, vortec 5700, out for a test drive today. It has 75,xxx miles on her.
At full throtle,about 4500 rpm'*, ~70 mph, it felt like the torque converter locked up, while at WOT.
Does this sound like it may be a problem? I checked the fluid before we left; it is nice and red. The oil looks good too, but that is a side note, lol.
Is the way the TC locked up something to be concerned about?
