Default Getting a new car UPDATE - GOT the car w/ pics

So, as the title indicates, I am finally getting a new car. Hopefully like Mon or Tuesday.
Anyway, since it'* in the lounge at least some of you have probably figured it'* not a Bonneville.
Trust me, if I could find one for this price, I would,
Anyway, I am getting a 89 Chevy Celebrity. Okay, once you stop laughing, can someone please try to help me figure somethin out?
The car has a bench seat, and seeing as hoe I am 6 foot 2 and the wife is 5 foot nothing, That is going to be interesting.
So, I am trying to figure out how to change to bucket seats. Would it be just as easy as unboltinh the bench and puttin the buckets in? Or would I have to add aditional brackets?
And, any idea what other vehicles would have seats that would be compatible?
I know a Pontiac 6000 would be the same, but do I have any other options?
I am getting the car for $300 and it lookls like a $300 car, but my father in law knows the car (has been working on it for about 6 years) so it'* afairly safe purchase.
Any ideas?

I was a frequent member over at www.a-body.net and if I am not mistaken, the seats can be swapped out of any Celebrity, Pontiac 6000, Ciera, or Century. They all have the same mounting brackets. If you aren't sure, sign up over at the site I pointed you to, they are very helpful there.

Yup. my friend has his 88 Celebrity Euro with the 2.8 mated to the 3.33 440T4. 260k and still going strong on original EVERYTHING except tuneup parts/brakes. He got it from his parents, they bought it new. It'* even got the FE3 and the rare tach in the dash.

Not sure about the motor. I know its a 4, I was thinking the 2.5, which I hear is pretty decent.
If I remember right, it only has about 125K, so I expect to get some decent use out of it.
The people who own it are related to the guy who owns the garage my father in law works at. Thye got it in 91 and have had it ever since. They take good care of it and have been bringing it to hat garage for atleast the last 6 years, so my father in law knows the car well. He said the do the oil change ever 3K, and they use good synthetic oil.
Like I said, the body is no beauty queen, but for $300, I am okay with that. They also did a brand new PA inspection yesterday, so I am good for a year there. It also has a year old stainless exhaust and years old snow tires. The summer tires on it are good too.
Now I just need to get all of the money together. Amazing how a $300 car turns into $650 with tax, title, registration and insurance.
