I actually kinda like the look of the 300c, and wow, that thing is a powerhouse.

The Saleen is a smaller motor.
The Hemi isn't old. It was completely new 2 years ago when it came out. It'* not even really a Hemispherical chamber as much as it used to be.
This isn't GTO competition, it'* STS-V competition.

Easy gents, stop rollin yer eyes, they'll roll back and get stuck up there.
STS-V is competition for the 7 series and most other uber lux import vehicles. Especially when you compare price tags. At 40K, the SRT-8 is GXP competition and lets not get started there.
The whole SRT lineup is a domestic version of M or AMG (performace wise, allowing most regular people to experience jaw dropping power at basement prices) , and I think that would be a close comparision. Its also a unique class and it offers the best bang for the buck. Raw power aside not much in North America in the 40K range can touch it.
Kinda sad IMO.
Thats why the 5 pointed star is seeing profits while the General and Ford flounder in the recent years.

Pentroof design > Hemi design. Even Toyota Corollas for the better part of 15 years have been using it.
The Northstar/ multi-valve motors would use the Pentroof combustion chamber design as well, as far as I know

Pentroof design=Pentroof design, HEMI design=HEMI design The 3.5 Magnum engines are Pentroof, and the new 5.7 HEMI is a "HEMI" design, fully Hemispherical with dual spark plugs and a valve on each side. We have a cutaway model at the dealeship here. HEMI is still HEMI. No if ands or buts. The only reason it does not look like, or people may not say it is a "true" hemispherical head is due to the valve and spark plug placement.
