Too much rain! Ducks swimming in my yard.
It'* funny... I asked my wife as she was leaving this morning to buy a rubber duckie and a boat so I could float them in my rain soaked yard. When ahe arived, boat and duckieless, she said that there were two ducks already swimming in the yard. I thought she was full of ka-ka so had a look for my self. Whadda ya know, they were having a grand old time out there.

Wow -your lawn looks like it'* turning green already. Spring is in the air!!!
Ducks are a fairly common thing around here in the spring -except this year - not much for puddles this spring since it wasn't one big thaw -light thaw, freeze, thaw some more, freeze, and thaw the rest of the way. Was a pretty smooth spring around here as far as mud and puddles go.
Here in MN we're having high temps in the 50-65* range, but they're saying 2-3 weeks before we start turning green. :? I'm sure they're wrong.

I live in a town that has no rivers in it yet, the other day we had a taxi cab that stalled, and was completely submersed in water on a road just down the street from my house. The fire dept had to get the ladder out to save the dude off the top of his cab. Proly the most exciting thing theyve done in years!

The wet conditions caused a few other problems across Northern Kentucky,
many of them typical during heavy rains.
...
On Royal Drive, a cab driver called 911 shortly after 2:19 a.m. when his taxi
stalled in high water in a parking lot across from the Drawbridge Inn in Fort
Mitchell. Firefighters extended a ladder from a truck to rescue the driver.
