Yeah, I'll get pics up by the weekend. Oh, btw. This is NOT staying stock. It just doesn't have enough power to satisfy me
I'll probably be visting Mr. Intense in a few weeks

So much for gas mileage
Petey, don't be shocked if you see a sudden drop in MPG, that'* the normal "L67 to L36 syndrome" and will be gone in a week or two

That'* one option, the other is to leave it N/A and to upgrade the tranny to HD spec, but this will probably be a 3 year plan at best.
btw, it does suck to leave the Bonneville group

Yeah but really your not going anywhere. And I'm sure my friends over there will treat you like one of the family...

I used to own an '01 Monte Carlo...same as your Impala. The 3400 is gas saver for sure, but there are things you can do to wake it up. I put a dual exhaust (twin flowmaster 40'* I think), used nothing but synthetic, and I got a K&N panel filter. On the highway, I was getting upwards of 32 MPG, and decent around the town power. The only reason I got rid of it was way high interest rate. It was an overall good car.
