1st day at my new job wow this sucks.......... sigh
Well it was my 1st day at my job at alpha omega fabrications its been months and months before I have done ne physical labor and wow this job is something we make those guard rails that people end up hiting with cars well they look exact the 10 footers I was doing most of the day and that is hard u gota lift these 65 lb pieces of metal 18 times before 1 is done with bending them u gota spin em around n everything its done with 2 people and we did 70 of these today my entire body is achin but I guess I gota get used to this poop job for $10.50 an hour or go to college lol.......... well wish me luck on hanging in there because its almost to hard for me to do even being a decent built 6' 01'' man but mabey I can do it mabey I can well see in the weeks to come but do i need money o well it'll get eazier as I go on I hope

and thats about how i felt when i started at UHaul. i was sore the first 1-2 weeks, and since i have been working there, i have lost 15 pounds <1.5 - 1.75 months>

You'll be alright.....
Considering the fact 1 sq foot of 1/4" weighs 10.4 pounds
Now,imagine pieces of steel 3/8" thick,15 in wide and 4 to 5 ft long. Now,imagine filling a 3 sq yard hopper with these 2 times a day. I did it for 3 years with different types of steel for 3 years on this machine.....
