I have a 90 red TGP for sale in Indpls. It has tan interior, cd player, sunroof, newer 245/50 falken tires. Everything works perfectly except the cd player. I am asking for $1500 or trade for an 87-93 mustang gt or combo of partial trades. The car has only 112000 miles and the red paint is starting to fade. No dents anywhere, oil leaks or rust. Also the a/c needs charged. If interested email me at mustangman_93@hotmail.com or call me at home at 317-735-1838. Thanks Bryan Or PM me if interested!!!

Yep, the For Sale section requires you to be signed in to view.

If anyone would like me to copy the pictures over to this forum, I can do so.

BTW, the weatherstripping was pulled back to inspect for rust.

Those were the pictures taken from the person in this quote:

I contacted Bryan and we hammer out a deal. I would check the car out, and get pictures of everything and post them to help him out.

here goes.

mileage 111,3xx miles.

Under the hood, everything is original.
crossover. OEM, I think, it still has the heatshield covering the belows and everything. It may have a minor leak, but no noticeable effect on engine, but exhaust fumes were present underhood, but no noise from leaking was identified.
inlet pipes, before the turbo. OEM, the first section before the airbox is flattened to an oval, but hey, we know you want to put a K&N on.
chip: OEM. we checked, it is OEM chip code AUAF. prior to this, the ECM had never been opened.
turbo. the wastegate arm moves ok, but I forgot to check for endplay.
Brakes, PMIII. brakes feel good and work, but the ABS light is flashing and the pump runs everytime you press the pedal.
exhaust system: standard dual, in good condition with OEM mufflers and square tips
shocks are older and could stand servicing.
NEEDS vert STB!!!

driving. engine and transmission feels good, no slippage or anything, I suspect the car has been relatively babied.

tires Ziex Falken tires, good tread on the front, great tread on the rear.
Rims. relatively clean and all straight flawless lips. no sign of significant clear coat corrosion, and a dust shield has been added long ago on the front rims, which has protected them very well.

exterior: RED, all turbo badges are present, but the pontiac arrow on the front is missing it'* colored insert. paint is faded in many areas, but could be rejuvenated on most body areas, though the fender flares would need repainting. front valance is cracked but is still in relatively good condition and should be simple to repair, in fact the paint is hardly scuffed.
I checked several areas on the car and must say this:
the trunk lid is a replacement, but it did come off of another red car, so it is fine.
The car has had a sunroof added. The sunroof is a OEM sunroof with an indeterminate portion of the roof panel included in the installation. I checked, to be certain that the roof has not a hack install. no welding was done to the pillars of the car, the panel was either replaced at the proper spot weld seams, or more likely, merged with the original roof panel. In any case, this is a HIGH QUALITY professional installation and it looks good and functions properly, with no signs of leakage.
I based the previous observation on misinformation I had. the car roof has been repainted, but the sunroof is stock and is included in the RPO codes.

interior:
tan leather AQ9 quads, the leather is in very good condition, except for the bolster on the upper outer edge of the driver seat.
I did not test seat functionality.
car has an OEM cd player, the radio works but the cd player was not tested.
HUD works, as does the DIC.
gauges are inaccurate, the speedo reads high(I think) the RPMS read low and the turbo gauge is sporadically functional.
no overhead console is present, (which I thought would be standard in all TGPs?) though this would not be present due to this car having the swapped in sunroof and sunroof headliner, with the appropriate fabric coloring.

this car would be an excellent buy for someone capable of fixing it'* issues, and it is an unmodded unbeaten car that would be a great starting point for building a great TGP.

I have pictures and shall get those posted soon.

If we decide to buy, will it make the 300 mile trip home without any problems? My Dad is debating it right now. I will drop you a PM tomorrow after I see what he says.

Wow, those rear seats are cool. I don't think I've ever seen a car with a true console in the back before.

1st Gen 2 door W'* had the option. I added them to my old 94 GP Coupe that I had, loved em.

They are more rare in Regal'*.

Most Cutty Conv. had them stock.
