I dunno man, I'm gonna disagree with yer disagreement, my 1989 Bonneville is still running like a champ. Paul cant say enough good things about that engine. Its going on 16 years now...no engine issues whatsoever, heater core issues now, but even when I had it, the only engine problem was the FPR and the timing chain cam sprocket.

Damn good engine, probably the best we'll see in a LONG time.
I won't disagree that they're a good engine. Just wouldn't say they're the best. My 88 LeSabre had 155,000 miles on it when I sold it and it still ran awesome, the engine was just getting really loud. It'd tick loud and just didn't sound good at all. Now at 116,000 on my Riviera it is still totally smooth sounding and whisper quiet. Both have been/were solid reliable engines. One is just so much quieter and smoother than the other.

Lol, I just about got a Saturn (still might)...now thats scarier then a Taurus.
Yea, but you're still keeping the Bonny, right? Going by pictures i've seen that has got to be the most spotless car of the 92-99 era.

I've looked at two. Both V6s one was purple/blue two door and a black four door. Liked them both but they also both had major issues. SO! we'll see.
