Rubber restorer
NO, not that......
What the best thing to restore petroleum based rubber products? I bought a motorcycle last night and I want to put something on the rubber intake boots.

I have a 04 V-star thats starting to show a lttle age on the rubber components. Armour All doesnt seem to last long and have been using good old Vaseline. Some say it will break down the rubber in time but it does a great job. i guess time will tell I even smear it on my leather saddlebags and allows me to pressure wash them as well after a long ride without gettingthe leather wet.

My GXP is rather new and just gets the Armour All to clean, but my 94 Ram 3500 is a different story and all the polymer restorers have a small life and the chalky vinyl shows right back up especially with an older dark Maroon. I use the Vaseline on all the interior in it for several years now and love it. It kind of attracts dust but doesnt need much reapplication and cleaning it back up is just a couple paper towels.
Just Latex Huh Bill? Guess there are some rubber items you should avoid putting Vaseline on
