Show your dad my post... (and hey! give him my number too! Lol... Just KIDDING!). Let him know he'* not the only who did that... I understand him perfectly.

And to be honest... when people gave me **** about it, it didn't matter. The decision to quit is a personal one. You cannot quit for your firends, your kids, for anyone. It has to be for YOU. That could be why so many 'try' to quit and fail... I don't know... ??

For the record, i've "quit" for up to three days at a time but the nicotene cravings killed me...the patch solved that physical craving.

Yay Tracy!!! I quit about 7 years ago. My sis in law is taking that chancik or however its spelled. It makes her nauseaous if she smokes so she can lose weight and not smoke but it costs like $128 per month for the script.

I am proud of you because it isn't easy. You will feel so much better and food wil taste better also.

Man, I forgot about food tasting better. I LOVE food now. I mean , I have always enjoyed a good meal, but the difference is unbelievable.
And, it is sooo true, you can ONLY do it when you are ready. I "quit " several times myself.
