As everyone has already said, it'* all about personal preference. I have hit the forums of all of the cars I have owned--Mustang, Explorer, Mark VIII, and Bonneville. I have a passion for all cars, especially the ones I drive.
Coming from a Ford family (my dad works for Ford) it was tough to buy a General Motors product. Although my dad loves my Bonneville SSEi, I still find it hard to believe that I have been swayed. My next vehicle I purchase, though, will be another Ford; probably a Mustang GT or Cobra, but this will not be for a LONG time. I can only hope that the Bonneville lasts at least 8-10 years.

Woh there buddys im not here to dis on any of you but some of you didnt really care to read much. But to those of you that figured out the tone of the post thanks for the fill in (which is what i wanted, not a lecture thanks for that). and i made me understand that you kids want compfort and luxary and the occasional power. Now i am not trying to fit people in my car, i dont have back seats. Me its 2 things Show and performance, i guess i could care less about the leather seats or how easy getting in and out is. But when you govern at 115 what not, i will already be past you. ( i raced my friends ssei one time)
And no offence to whats her name but i dont think that many or any turn there heads for the Bon bon. Well at least not many in west michigan.
But im done with this, i was just so surprised to see a Bonneville club in the first place.

Some of us are fortunate to have no governors...I would love to stretch my V8 legs out on the open road against a GSR.
One day you will realize that winning a quarter mile race or draggin from stoplight to stoplight become less important...
See you there

How are you going to get a car and add a turbo and exhaust and say it is fast, while you go ahead and put a body kit, giant *** wing, and 18" wheels on it? And dont even tell me you took out your backseat to lose weight Having 250hp does not mean we want to go fast, a Bonne is a cruiser; we dont have to go up a hill with a loud obnoxious noise and the engine using half of its torque available.
A GTP would smoke you any day
And what i have found with american made cars is that they just suck
