Question Timing belt troubles

Hi my name is Dave. Generally enjoy working with the families Gm Vehicles but am wondering if I may of bit off to much to chew. Daughter has 96 olds cutlass supreme with 3.4 DOHC. Timing belt has stripped allowing the crank to turn over with no valve action though still mounted.. ? Looking for some sugestions if any one has experience.

welcome to the site, not sure what you are asking. if it can happen, how to fix it, what damage might it have done?
