Check the OBD area in tech info, that code is listed there. It will also give recomendations and links to write ups on how to correct the problems.

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum Jason. Code po 300 is a real generalized one as youi can see if you looked it up in Tech Info. From what your saying, it sounds like your cat is clogged. Given your mileage, that would be very understandable.

Hi Jason!

Welcome to the Bonneville Forum!

Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

The P0300 is a random misfire and some issues that cause as well as some solutions are listed here. You'll have to work through them one at a time until you find the real reason and prevent it'* recurrence.

Please post your continuing saga of repairing this and asking for more help in the 2000-2005 Mechanical section.

The P0300 code is a real pain to track down. It can be so many different things. Generally it will be a weak spark. This can come from old or bad spark plugs, old plug wires, or old tired coils. A bad injector can also cause this code. I would suggest pulling the plugs and inspect them closely. They should all be a nice light gray color. If not, there'* a problem.
