Default Well, i did it now...

Just got back from the dealer... signed the papers as a new owner of an '02 SSEi, black, loaded, 9500mi. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon. woohoo! I'm going to miss the '97 Z28.

I highly recommend Hurd Pontiac in Johnston, RI to anyone looking in the area. They made the process fairly painless. Gave me the price and trade I was looking for without much fight after one round of 'IWant- We Can Do'. Let me take the car without a salesperson too. No high pressure tactics.

Wonder if the wife will notice the mods if I add them one at a time???

Congratz on the new car Backinblack!

As for the mods, just do what I do. Whatever I spend in mods/car parts, she gets to spend on shoes. Keeps her happy until she needs to figure out which pair to wear...

If I spent on mods what she spends every weekend, I'd have a 10 second car in no time.

Don't get me wrong, the Green Monster was a TON of fun, but it was time to get something that the wife could drive too. And I've always liked these.
I picked it up last night and drove around for 2-1/2 hrs. What an awesome car! I can't believe how many looks it gets. More than the Z with headers, etc. Need a sig and pics now. I'm going to buff it out tomorrow so that it absolutely glows. The previous owner obviously used automatic car washes frequently.
