The first turbo setup I had on the car was making 180hp and that felt fast. 250 is a different world all together!
Since the dyno I've upgraded to a custom made log style manifold instead of the cast one I had. As well as a full 3" downpipe to mate with the 3" I already had on the car. The turbo is also quite a bit larger, so hopefully those numbers have some room for improvement, although I don't really want to know and end up throwing a rod through the block like a lot of other guys already have. The motor is still on stock internals, so I don't want to push my luck!
Here'* a quick video I posted the day after I had the car on the dyno. Please excuse the shaking camera, the mount is actually for the laptop and it happen to come with a camera attachment. I still plan on getting a rollbar mount eventually.

I've attached some car **** of the amazing job this guy in Texas did for me with the manifold and downpipe.

Hey nice catch! lol
Yes I'm usuing a megasquirt, although mine'* a PNP model. Did you build yours, or is it a PNP as well?
Once I got all the basic stuff dialed in it wasnt too bad tuning it on the dyno. Which program do you use for tuning? I have both megatune and tuner studio, but I've only used megatune myself.

Tuner studio is only fun if you buy the good version. I built my megasquirt originally for a camaro but it made it'* way under the hood of my Turbo Grand Prix. They are actually not too difficult to build. The directions are awesome. I just got mine running about a couple of weeks ago and haven't had a lot of time to tune. The car is put up for the winter now. I don't have a WBo2 so I'm tuning with a NB. Using Megalog Viewer makes narrow band tuning a lot easier.
I've got a couple of vids of the car running in my project thread if you're interested.
Have you done a lot of tuning by yourself, or did you have someone else do it for you?

We kinda learned the initial setup for it together, then once we got to the fuel and spark part of it, he showed me what to do and I was tuning it while he would do a pull, then go get the print out from the computer. We did over 20-25 pulls and spent about 5-6 hours tuning it. I have 3 different maps saved for it, but I've only been using the one.
Lots of the miata guys build thier MS'* too, but I'm not too computer savvy, so I chose the PNP route.
Its cool to have already run into another DIY'er on here thats also running a MS. I'll definetly check out your thread and see what work you've done to it.
Thanks for all the warm welcomes guys!

I can understand if it was a streetrace video or something, but it was hardly that. I dont do that, nor condone it myself. Me thinks your just giving me a hard time.
