Default Howdy Im a newbie

As the title sez I'm new here. We have 4 GM cars including a 69 Corvette w/t tops. Basically I joined in order to get tips on repair projects. Right now I need to find some kind of source for instructions to rebuild a rack and pinion on a 2003 Olds Alero 3.4L w/standard power steering. I saw that there was a repair kit available for $60 so that'* what my old lady says we're doing it for. Never mind I've not been able to find any info on doing it. Oh well, if you think you could give me some help, please chime in, else I'm stuck with an Alero on blocks till I can save up the $200.00 + it'll cost me to get a rebuilt rack. Well that'* all for now.
