Default Newbie from Michigan

Hello all,

I've recently become the proud owner of a 99 Bonneville SE w/ 86K miles. Joined the club since it provides a wealth of Bonneville knowledge and can likely help out with any future repairs. I also own a 1983 Pontiac Trans-Am that I am in the process of returning to glory. Anyway, thanks for having me.

Thanks, glad to be here. Bought my Bonneville back in January for $4000...will try to post pics sometime soon. Body is white and in excellent shape, interior is nearly perfect. Car runs good overall but has some minor irritants during driving that can hopefully be fixed. My grandfather leased new Bonnevilles back in '86, '88, '90, and '92, so I grew up admiring these cars and am happy to have my hands on one.

Welcome to BC!

As you may already know, most of us here are pretty enthused about our Bonnevilles and many are capable and very willing to help all others keep theirs in prime shape. Take a little time to search around and also check out TECHINFO at the top of the page. Many basics are covered there.

As far as questions that you will still have about your car, ask away. Most of us have had our shots and don't bite often (stolen and paraphrased from earlier today).

Hurray for White Bonnevilles!

Hey lash, the Bonneville in your signature pic looks strangely familiar...our cars sure look good in white.

Any pitfalls or problems I should look out for that are common with the '92-'99'*?

Hey hey! I used to work in Plymouth with a group of guys who lived in Dearborn. I'm originally from Walled Lake...

Anyway, enough about me. Welcome!
