Las Vegas Sunfire Owner
I found this site while searching for tips on removing/replacing certain parts on my Sunfire, so I'm hoping there are some knowledgeable folks here that can share any repair tips.
I own a 2001 Sunfire GT, and I have had it for 10 years now. I bought it in Tysons Corner, VA, and it moved me out to Vegas where I have been for several years now. It'* been paid off for quite a while now and I'm keen on trying to do as many repairs on my own as I can. Since some of the repair jobs I am doing are rather expensive when compared to the value of the car and I'm not sure how much longer the car will actually run (it'* running just like when I bought it, but you never can predict anything), I have quickly become a DIY repair guy.
I have actually found doing my own work on the car quite rewarding. Yeah, it'* a pain in the rear sometimes, but I'm saving some money and getting some satisfaction of completing jobs I never thought I could do.
